Also known as the Fiberboard Freeway and Mount Wilson trails. Trails connect to Tahoe City, Northstar, Mount Watson, Truckee and more. Easy to ride 50+ miles a day in this area. It would be a good idea to bring a GPS receiver, water and food for the longer trips. Riding levels: beginner, intermediate,  some advanced. There are many logging trails in this area.

A few Snowmobile options:

1) Bring your own.

During winter months, and when the streets are lightly plowed, its possible to drive directly from the driveway of Tahoe-RNR to the trailhead on Regency Way.

2) Rent a snowmobile.
There are several companies in Kings Beach and Tahoe Vista that rent snowmobiles. The normal rate is $200/half day to $300+/day. The rental rate might also vary depending upon whether you tow the trailer, or the rental company delivers.

3) Snowmobile Tours
Another option is to take a snowmobile tour - The tours vary in pricing depending upon the length of the tour. The tour groups range in size of 6 to 10 snowmobiles - that are led by an experiences tour guide.
